the heartbeat of nature
—aka the spiral of transformation—
is reflected on every surface of existence.
it's how you breathe:
inhale > contain > exhale > soften
how the moon phases:
waxing > full > waning > dark
how life flows:
growing > maturity > aging > death (= birth)
you can try to avoid this cycle
(i mean, you know you can only hold your breath for so long, right?)
or
you can consciously align
(and let the truth that 'all is one' become a lived reality).
"how so?" ?
well.
the law of polarity—paradoxically—proves all is one.
(because through this law,
"opposites are identical in nature,
but different in degree"
we understand all "opposites"
—cold-hot, dark-light, yin-yang—
aren't separate entities,
they are two extremes of the same phenomenon;
cold and hot—different degrees of temperature,
dark and light—degrees of illumination,
yin and yang—energy.)
the spiral of transformation
(ie the transition from one pole to the other)
is how this intellectual understanding we can live by
becomes a felt experience we can live from.
(and this knowing that no feeling is final—that every fall is a climb in the making—is how we cash in on our power to not just transform lows and 'fails'—into highs and wins—but to meet and experience the ebbs with grace.)
living rhythmically ≠ being a vegetable half the time.
it's about
shifting focus—from inner to outer and back—so we can course-correct,
and slowing down—to conserve our energy—so the speeding up can be unleashed when it's time to jump the canyon.

yin
is the embodiment of cold.
· it's where things have come to a stop ·
the night · winter · dark moon
here, energy is facing inwards
and outer stillness reflects
the building of inner resources.

yin becoming yang
embodies warming up.
· here, the pace is picking up ·
this is the dawn · spring · waxing moon
it's where energy is turning outwards,
inner resources awakening
to power vibrant growth.
yang
is the embodiment of hot.
· it's where things are at their peak ·
the day · summer · full moon
here, energy is directed outwards
and external vibrancy reflects the
fullness of inner growth.
